The Undercurrent Design Market, organised by the team from The Curatoreum, is fast approaching and with over 50 stalls of handcrafted and unique items to wander between there is sure to be something to stick under your Christmas tree.
Here are 15 creators—ranging from fashion and jewellery to accessories and homewares—that are at the top of our shopping list.
FASHION
Shop a range of unique, handmade and gorgeous fashion pieces that will have everyone you pass asking “where did you buy that?!”.
High Tea with Mrs Woo
Traditional tailoring methods are used by sisters, Rowena, Juliana and Angela Foong to create unique shapes from conventional dress forms.
The trio practice Slow Fashion values – using materials and creating designs that are appreciated for their craftsmanship, wearability and materiality. They make sure to maintain a small and sustainable scale of production to make clothing that is worthy of care and enjoyment for a long and useful life.

Captain Robbo Adventure Pants
Katy Robison started making adventure pants after experimenting with pairs for herself, as she explored different print ideas and options, somewhere in those moments of exploration adventure pants were born.
Each print has its own story to tell, and when worn, creates another layer of life.
