Who knew your late-night shopping binge could help make a change for girls and women globally?
i=Change is launching a revolutionary retail campaign this International Women’s Day from Wednesday 8 March until Friday 10 March, to triple the impact for women and girls affected by domestic and/or sexual violence.
The devastating statistics remain: one in three women or girls is physically or sexually abused in their lifetime and, on average, one woman is killed each week by her current or former partner.
As consumers, we can make conscious choices in fashion. Our choices can extend a helping hand to those who need it. Businesses also have the ability to help transform the lives of women in vulnerable communities worldwide, so it’s the perfect excuse to Shop for Change.
Brands like Camilla, Ginger & Smart, and Clarins will be tripling their impact to give back $3 from every online sale. More Australian businesses like Pillow Talk, Shona Joy, Carla Zampatti, Bec + Bridge, Saski Collection, Rachel Gilbert, and more will be giving back $1 from every online sale – say less, take my money!
The brainchild of Jeremy Meltzer, i=Change is raising almost $1m quarterly, supporting over 50 NGO projects in Australia and around the world.

Founder Jeremy Meltzer tours a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh.
“My great hope is that International Women’s Day is no longer required–that we no longer need a day to call out inequality because men and boys are finally walking alongside women and girls as true allies. May this day—that highlights the progress yet also the challenges that still prevent women and girls from realising their potential—become redundant,” says Jeremy.
How can you help? It’s simple. shop online as usual, then after completing your purchase you can choose where the brand’s donation will go. You can also add a donation of your own and track its impact with 100 per cent transparency.
Perfect if you’re looking to make more socially conscious choices when shopping (or you’d just like to donate to a good cause), for more information visit iequalchange.com or read our story on how this platform for good evolved.
