After all, you may not carrot about all the chocolate bunnies you eat at Easter time, but you will carrot about what your kids will get up to during the holidays. And if you need ideas for fun-filled activities, we’ve got you covered.
Retro Arcade at Canberra Centre
Live out your retro arcade dreams these school holidays, as Canberra Centre brings the nostalgia of your favourite arcade machines to life!
Step through the doors of the Retro Arcade and be transported into a classic 50s style arcade—sure to be a hit with the young and the young at heart.
Visitors will enjoy an immersive space where they’ll be able to enjoy for free retro arcade games including Munster Pinball, Atari Pong, Air Hockey and a number of others, including from Kingpin, Canberra’s leading entertainment venue, which was awarded Canberra’s Top Entertainment Venue for 2022 (for the third year in a row)!

Allow your bunny to master the art of the bun
In this hands-on masterclass at Canberra Centre in partnership with Grill’d, kids will learn all about what makes a burger delicious and learn the food ‘superpowers’ of great nutrition and build their own perfect burger from the bun up.
There’ll be a whole lotta fun in a 60-minute session, including a guide to dressing their perfect Grill’d burger, a special Grill’d ‘healthy eating’ activity and colouring pencils, a chicken or Beef Mini-Me pack to eat (and a voucher for one to have later!), a Grill’d bandana and spatula, a certificate of achievement, Local Heroes stickers

Have an egg-citing Easter adventure at Gungahlin Marketplace
No bunny lay a finger on my chocolate eggs, because Gungahlin Marketplace are putting on the ultimate Easter egg hunt! Visit the chocolate factory at South.Point
For the Easter fanatics based in Tuggeranong, Southpoint has you covered these Easter holidays with their free Willy Wonka themed craft activities at the Chocolate Factory Craft Village (there are only 150 spots per day so get in quick)! There’s something in it for the parents too, because if you get that golden ticket you could win one of five $200 SouthPoint Gift Cards. Word on the street is, the Easter bunny may also make an appearance. He really is so busy.
