Cheap chocolates and arcade toys move over! Marketplace Gungahlin has just upped the stakes in the claw machine world, and you bet I’ll be there trying my hand at winning some major prizes at their Carnival weekends.

That’s right, I’m talking Apple watches, 40-inch TVs, Google nest minis and so much more—and it’s happening soon!

Spend $25 at Marketplace Gungahlin (sorry it doesn’t count Woolworths, Big W or Kmart) from Monday 15 August until Sunday 4 September to get an access token for your shot at winning big on the weekends.

I personally feel we need some of those little aliens from Toy Story (please tell me you know the ones!) egging us on as we test our skills honed by childhoods of begging for a pile of gold coins to try and win a bar of 50-cent chocolate. I don’t think that will happen but thankfully we still have two weekends packed with freebies including popcorn, photo booth experiences, roving entertainment and a kids’ carnival sparkle zone! Not a bad alternative to imaginary animated friends.
